(VOVworld) - The Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) published a new peace accord on Monday in a bid to end a 52-year war in Colombia.

The government and FARC said in a joint statement that publishing the entire document allows integral and genuine comprehension of what has been agreed and answers concerns and suggestions made by different sectors of society. New proposals were incorporated in this peace accord.
