Citizens’ complaints and denunciations to be resolutely addressed

(VOVworld) – The number of citizens’ complaints and denunciations fell 30% in 2013, but the situation remains complex, particularly in cases relating to land disputes and land compensation, said Huynh Phong Tranh, Chief Government Inspector during the Sunday TV program “Citizens ask, ministers answer”.

He said the government is determined to address all complaints and denunciations. Tranh said the Government Inspectorate has proposed corrections to mechanisms and policies designed to settle the issues, underlining the importance of clear instructions for implementing the revised Land Law now in force.
The Government Inspectorate urges authorities at all levels to step up communication activities to educate citizens about the law to minimize complaints and denunciations.
