The Department of Overseas Labor at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs quoted the Management Board of Vietnamese Workers in Chinese Taipei as saying. The Department said this will be an opportunity for Vietnamese to  go there to work after a period of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chinese Taipei is expected to apply a scoring system to give entry priority to foreign workers based on their vaccination status and the pandemic control in their countries. To prepare for the return of foreign workers, the Chinese Taipei authorities have drafted an pandemic prevention plan for consultation with labor supplying countries.
