On Tuesday, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Xi had a successful talks on orientations to elevate the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

The two leaders witnessed the signing of 36 agreements of cooperation in multiple sectors and localities.

On Tuesday evening, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and State President Vo Van Thuong and their spouses hosted a grand banquet in Hanoi in honor of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and his spouse.
