The statement released on Friday outlined the main outcomes of the first China-US Law Enforcement and Cyber security Dialogue on Wednesday, chaired by Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Guo Shenkung and US Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

The two sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in narcotics control, law enforcement, cyber security, and make use of the hotline to solve urgent cyber crimes. The dialogue is one of the 4 high-level communication mechanisms, established at the summit between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump in early April.
