His five proposals on advancing SCO cooperation covers safeguarding security and stability to foster a sound environment for development, expanding trade and investment to bolster regional economic recovery, enhancing connectivity to realize integrated development of the region, promoting sustainable development to build up resilience against risks and enhancing people-to-people and cultural exchanges to strengthen the bond between peoples.
Delegates agreed on a joint communique and adopted several cooperation documents and resolutions in economy and trade as well as digital economy.
SCO was established in 2001. Its current members include China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
