(VOVworld) – Police in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have revealed details of a terrorist attack that took place on Friday, involving 13 terrorist suspects.

An official statement from Xinjiang police said on Sunday that an investigation showed that the attack in Wushi county, Aksu Prefecture, was an organized, premeditated terrorist assault targeting the police, injuring 2 policemen and 2 civilians. Eight terrorists were killed by police and three others by their own suicide devices during the attack.
