Wang Yi told a joint press conference with his Malaysian counterpart Saifuddin Abdullah on Tuesday in Malaysia that China and Malaysia agreed to maintain peace and stability in the region through political consensus. He added both agree to maintain ASEAN’s centrality and the ASEAN Regional Cooperation Framework.

Malaysia is the last stop of Minister Wang's trip to five Southeast Asian countries after Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia this week.
