(VOVworld) – China’s Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that China and India have withdrawn troops from a disputed border region and reached an agreement on resolving their recent conflicts.

China’s Foreign Ministry confirmed in a press release that the frontier defense troops of the two countries completed simultaneous withdrawal according to steps agreed by the two sides and that peace and tranquility have been restored in the area. The two countries will continue to discuss issues related to maintaining peace and security in the border area.
