(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has called on every member of the NA office to unite and exert greater effort to prepare for celebrations of Vietnam’s major events in 2015.

Chairman Hung made the appeal during his Tet visit to the NA office and the State Bank of Vietnam on Tuesday, the sixth day of the first lunar month.

At the central bank, Mr. Hung said that despite domestic and global economic difficulties, the bank should regulate the national monetary system flexibly and efficiently to realize Vietnam’s socio-economic development goals and international integration.

The Customs sector should continue to speed up administrative reforms and modernization process to fulfill the national socio-economic development objectives in 2015. National Assembly Chairman Hung made the remarks on Tuesday and sent  Tet greetings to the Vietnam General Department of Customs. The sector was also urged to continue to develop a qualified personnel group.  

Marking the occasion, Mr. Hung also attended a ceremony to inaugurate the Vietnam Customs’ Museum.
