Ceremony commemorating President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday held in Japan

(VOVWORLD) -  Vietnamese diplomatic corps in Japan and Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture on Thursday co-organized a ceremony and a seminar honoring the revolutionary life and noble career of President Ho Chi Minh.

The event, in commemoration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday on May 19,  promoted the study and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality, and lifestyle.

It also aimed to strengthen unity and foster connections within the Vietnamese community in Japan, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu.

Mr. Hieu said: "The seminar is an occasion for us to express gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese nation, It inspires determination to contribute to national development among the Embassy staff, Party members, and the Vietnamese people living, working, and studying in Japan."

The event also featured documentaries and presentations on President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary life and career.
