(VOVworld) – The final round of New Ha Noi newspaper running contest took place in Hanoi on Sunday. 1,200 contestants, including 325 foreign athletes, joined the competition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Hanoi’s liberation.
French ambassador to Vietnam, Jean Noel Poirier, is one of the competitors: “I am proud to participate in the contest to mark the 60th anniversary of Hanoi, which marked an important milestone in the relations between Vietnam and France. We have a nice day to join the competition with many friends despite light rain.”
Hanoi hosted a dragon dance show on Saturday with more than 1,000 artists participating to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Hanoi liberation.
