Pastor Tran Xuan Manh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Committee for Catholic Solidarity, said Catholic followers nationwide will continue to be united to overcome difficulties, live a gospel life and make contribution to national unity and development.
National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said: "The Party and State have always respected people’s religious freedom and affirmed that religious morals are similar to the nation’s traditional moral values. Religious followers especially Catholic followers have been provided with the best possible conditions to exercise their religious freedom and encouraged to make contribution to the country". 

Chairman Hung expressed his hope that the Vietnam Committee for Catholic Solidarity at all levels, Catholic followers and dignitaries will continue to contribute to national construction and defense and building an equal, democratic and civilized society.
