(VOVworld) - Hanoi Party Committee's Secretary Hoang Trung Hai has congratulated Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon and the Hanoi’s Archdiocese to mark the Christmas season.

At the meeting on Friday, the municipal Party Chief praised the Catholic community’s contribution to the capital city’s achievements and unity. The same day, the  Vietnam Fatherland Front President Nguyen Thien Nhan paid Christmas visit to Thanh Hoa province’s Archbishop Nguyen Chi Linh. Similar visits by Party, government and fatherland front leaders took place nationwide.
