Trudeau pledged his commitment to serve the nation, and ensure the security and safety of Canadians, and the protection of their rights and freedoms.
He highlighted the need to foster economic growth, support the middle-class, enhance the climate change mitigation, ensure the ethnic diversity, and generate more jobs to bring prosperity to the Canadian people. He said the new government will do its utmost to fulfill the people’s wishes.
Being sworn in at the age of 44, Trudeau has become Canada’s 23rd and second youngest prime minister. PM Trudeau announced the cabinet list of 33 members, bigger than expected.
