Can Tho Tourism Festival 2020, the fourth of its kind, attracts more than 100,000 visitors and local people.

A light show called “Magical Night in Can Tho” and a flower garland and colored lantern festival were the highlights of the 3-day event’s 12 cultural and arts programs.

Other popular activities included a program that encouraged couples to attach their "love locks" to a pedestrian bridge, a lantern release on Xang Thoi Lake, tourism promotion booths, a street carnival, food courts, and performances of Don Ca Tai tu (a traditional music genre of the South).

Duong Tan Hien, Deputy Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, said, “The festival is a highlight of Can Tho city’s Ninh Kiều district and an opportunity for Can Tho to boost domestic tourism demand.”
