(VOVworld) - The Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week in 2015 to promote regional tourism and contribute to local socio-economic development will take place in mid-June in Can Tho City. A master plan for the event’s activities and organizing board has been approved by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh. The event will draw the participation of provinces and cities with tourism strength in Vietnam and other Mekong Sub-region countries like Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos, as well as a number of foreign organizations and businesses. Mekong Delta cities will introduce their tourist potential and special cultural products.
