(VOVworld) – Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hunsen and National Assembly Chairman Heng Samrin received a Vietnamese Communist Party delegation led by Politburo member and Standing member of the Party Secretariat Le Hong Anh during an official visit to Cambodia from June 7th to 10th.

(VOVworld) – Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hunsen and National Assembly Chairman Heng Samrin received a Vietnamese Communist Party delegation led by Politburo member and Standing member of the Party Secretariat Le Hong Anh during an official visit to Cambodia from June 7th to 10th. During their talks, Le Hong Anh reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policies of respecting and doing its utmost to preserve and develop Vietnam-Cambodia traditional friendship comprehensive cooperation.

They agreed to speed up the implementation of Joint Statements, agreements, and treaties signed earlier by the two countries’ leaders. They reached a consensus on boosting communicative activities on bilateral traditional friendship among people at all levels, and the demarcation of borders to construct a border of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development between the two countries. They pledged to create favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese and Cambodians in each country to stabilize their lives and develop their economies. They committed to support each other in addressing regional and international issues and settling disputes through peaceful means and in accordance with international law and regional commitments. Both sides agreed to cooperate on preparations for the organization of the 14th meeting of a joint government committee regarding cooperation in economics, culture, education, science and technology.
