Mr. Phuc addressed a ceremony organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to mark the 15th Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, October 13, in Hanoi. He said: “Vietnamese businesses, including FDI, State, and private businesses, not only contribute to GDP growth, employment, and budget collection, but also are places of technological transfer in the current digital era. The business community take the lead in national construction and development and confirm their core role in creating assets and materials for society, generating jobs, and making the country prosperous.”
Mr. Phuc pledged continued institutional reform to support businesses’ rapid and sustainable development.
“The Party and State will continue to boost institutional reform to reach the regional and global level so as to create an environment favorable for the rapid and sustainable development businesses and business people. The government will stand side by side with the people and entrepreneurs in their businesses. A business success has a contribution of the administration and its failure has the responsibility of the administration. The success of a business is the success of the government, people, the country,” said Prime Minister Phuc.
At the ceremony, 100 prominent Vietnamese business people were given the Thanh Giong Cup for 2019.
