(VOVworld)- Vietnam’s business confidence index (BCI) rose 31 points to 114 in the first quarter of the year revealing optimism about Vietnam’s economic growth in 2013. The result was announced by World Vest Base Vietnam Financial Intelligence Service Company Limited (WVB FISL) of a survey of 129 enterprises conducted from late March to April.  Most surveyed businesses said the overall economic conditions have improved in the past 12 months and will continue to improve in the near future. Regarding the economic outlook, 71 percent think the national economy will do better in the next 12 months. According to the company, business confidence indexes rose thanks to government resolution 13 which addresses difficulties for enterprises in production, sales and marketing. Most of them show confidence in the government’s commitment to controlling inflation and the banks’ further support in 2013.
