He highlighted both countries’ important positions, with Vietnam serving as a bridge linking Bulgaria and ASEAN and Bulgaria acting as a gateway for Vietnam to the European Union.

Becoming an excellent diplomat is the most effective way to serve the country, protect the citizens’ interests, and advance Vietnam’s international integration, he stressed, saying he is in Vietnam to witness Vietnam-Bulgaria relations grow into the new era.

The same day, President Radev visited Hai Phong city, Lan Ha Bay, and a VinFast automobile factory in Dinh Vu Industrial Park in Cat Hai district.
