Experts from the two organisations would work together to research and create at least one new rice variety for production and providing seeds. Head of the Institute, Tran Ngọc Thach, said: “We have long-term strategic cooperation, which will contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s rice. Our cooperation focuses on selecting high quality rice seeds, technological transfer, and expert exchange to respond to drought and prevent pests.”
