Broadcasters in Southeastern region ready for National Radio Festival

(VOVWORLD) - The final round of the 15th National Radio Festival will open in Ho Chi Minh City next Tuesday. Broadcasters in the Southeastern region have been getting ready for the big festival of radio journalists.

The Binh Duong Radio and TV Station has applied four entries in the categories of reportage, thematic radio program, and radio drama. It will also join the Live Broadcast competition on the fight against corruption.

Nguyen Thanh Quang, Deputy Director of the Binh Duong Radio and TV Station, said, “The festival is a good opportunity for local radio and TV stations, including ours, to learn and use VOV’s modern broadcasting methods. We’ll use the experience to plan our future investments, innovations, and improvements to our radio programs.”

Huynh Thi Lien, Deputy Director of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Radio and TV Station, said her station’s three entries are in the final round, and she hopes the station’s live broadcast in collaboration with three others stations in the region will be effective.

“We will use part of our magazine program ‘Crossing cultural regions’ for the live broadcast competition, which we’ll do jointly with three other stations in Long An, Tra Vinh, and Tay Ninh. Our reporters and technicians have been preparing for this competition,” said Lien.

Four of five entries in the genres of interview, radio story, radio drama, and a 30-minute thematic radio program by the Binh Thuan Radio and TV Station entered the final round.

Nguyen Toan, Deputy Head of the Editorial Section of the Binh Thuan Radio and TV Station, said, “We want to convey a message about the will of fishermen who are tempered by the sea. We are making final preparations for a live broadcast at this year’s national radio festival.”
