(VOVworld) – The summit of the BRICS and the summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit are taking place in Ufa city, Russia.
Prior to the opening of the BRICS summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin held bilateral talks with the leaders of China, Brazil, India, Belarus, South Africa, and Tajikistan.

The Russian and Brazilian Presidents said that their countries’ relations have developed positively and agreed to enhance cooperation in high-tech spheres, including in space exploration and the aviation sector.

At a meeting with the South African President, they discussed measures to deal with bilateral trade reduction.
