At the meeting, Minister Lam congratulated Ambassador Giorgio Aliberti for his successful term in Vietnam which has contributed to boosting the Vietnam-EU cooperation.

The Minister praised the Ambassador’s contribution to the establishment and development of the Vietnam-EU cooperation in security and law enforcement including the building of the National Defense and Security Dialogue Mechanism in 2019, activities to realize the sustainable development goals and the UN Agenda 2030, the implementation of the project on strengthening security cooperation with Asia and in Asia, and the project on law and justice enhancement.

Ambassador Giorgio Aliberti said he would continue to do his utmost to further strengthen the Vietnam-EU  cooperation.
