(VOVworld) – The National Steering Committee for the Northwestern Region and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (MOLISA) reviewed last year’s implementation of policies on labor export, vocational training, and poverty reduction in poor districts. Reports at the meeting on Monday said that northwestern provinces organized vocational training for 240,000 people and reduced the poverty rate to 18.5%.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Head of the National Steering Committee for the Northwestern Region, asked MOLISA to integrate poverty reduction policies and renewed vocational training models towards sustainable poverty reduction results.
