(VOVworld) – Consecutive bombings targeting densely populated Shiitte areas of Baghdad killed at least 25 and injured 80, said Iraqi security officials on Tuesday. This is the worst bloodshed in Baghdad since the April 30 general election. No organization claimed responsibility for the attacks. Al-Qaeda-related groups and Sunni gunmen often target public areas and government buildings to sabotage the Shiite-led government.
