BFA Secretary General Li Baodong told a press conference that the first session of the forum, themed "Shared Future, Concerted Action, Common Development”, took place on Tuesday. The forum will have 50 sessions discussing world economy, multilateralism, regional cooperation and global governance, innovation-driven development, high-quality development, and other critical issues.
Since 2001, the BFA has promoted economic cooperation in the Asia – Pacific region and has been called “the Davos of Asia”.
