National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended a ceremony inaugurating the project invested by the Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC) and the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) Group.
Addressing at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said that Nhon Hoi economic zone is a multi-industry and multi-sector economic zone, with a development focus on tourism, services, urban areas, industry, seaports, renewable energy and fisheries. This new model requires a methodical approach and digital transformation and green transformation mindset, according to the Deputy PM.
“Regarding industrial development, Becamex and VSIP Group need to be pioneers in this transformation issue and need to set up their own, new criteria as a basis for choosing green and clean technology and smart green ecological industrial park. Industrial parks must be a place to research and apply innovative science and technology."
"Selected investors here must be investors with green, clean technology, a commitment to technology transfer and investment for research and development. Only then will we have an industry transformed towards green, circular and knowledge-based," Ha said.
At the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and leaders of Binh Dinh province witnessed the signing ceremony of investment cooperation between Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh and partners with a total value of 49 million USD.
