The event gathers medical experts from Vietnam, Denmark, Australia, and France, and is expected to become a major biennial platform for healthcare professionals, researchers, and businesses to advance digital technology in Vietnam’s medical sector.

At the opening session, Major General Dr. Le Huu Song, Director of Military Hospital 108, said that the hospital is eager to learn from esteemed professors and experts at home and abroad to open a new chapter in harnessing AI and big data for patient care, management, and treatment.

“With the medical professionals here today, I believe this discussion will be a success and open up new opportunities for future collaboration,” said Mr Song.

The two-day forum also addresses global healthcare challenges. Professor Dr. Dinh Xuan Anh Tuan, Chief of the Department of Physiology and Medicine at Kosan Harris Park Hospital and representative of the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global), said, “AI is like the air we breathe. It has been with us for some time and will grow more essential. But alongside its tremendous benefits, we must also remain cautious of potential risks.”
