(VOVworld) – The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has established a work group in the Russian market prior to the visit by Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong.

The group will help to promote investment and trade between Vietnam and Russia to match their potential and comprehensive strategic partnership. In his address, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son stressed the importance of the group in the context of growing economic and trade ties between Vietnam and Russia: “BIDV is one of the leading banks in Vietnam and it has been successful in international cooperation. Vietnamese businesses will have the opportunity to access funding and expand their production.”

This has been BIDV’s third work group in Eastern Europe with the other two in the Czech Republic.
