The recognition shows great gratitude of the current generation for the national heroes and honors the city’s history, traditional culture, and patriotism.

Located at the estuary of Bach Dang River, just 20 km from downtown Hai Phong City, Bach Dang Giang is the city’s largest complex of historical, cultural and spiritual monuments and a popular tourist attraction. 

Bach Dang estuary is a special place because it is closely linked to three great naval battles in 938, 981, and 1288 and symbolizes Vietnam’s undauntedness in protecting the nation from the foreign invaders. 

Exhibitions on Bach Dang victories are underway at Hai Phong City’s Theater Square and Bach Dang Giang historical relic site until Tuesday.
