Bac Luan 2 bridge to reopen to facilitate trade with China

(VOVWORLD) -The northern border city of Mong Cai and China’s Dongxing city are finalizing preparations to reopen the Bac Luan 2 bridge, which links the two border cities. Both sides agreed on stricter quarantine measures.

Any vehicle from China must be sterilized before entering Vietnam. Drivers must undergo medical check-up and be equipped with protective gear. The move responds to the Prime Minister’s guidelines on ensuring normal export-import activities between Vietnam and China and fighting the acute respiratory illness caused by new coronavirus.
