Under the MoU, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau People's Committee and DP World Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. will share expertise on the design, operation, and development of a seaport-linked free trade zone and a new port and a new industrial, commercial, and service area inside the zone.
The MoU marks the start of a promising collaboration between Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates.

The Cai Mep Ha free trade zone will boost Vietnam’s maritime economy, capitalize on the strategic location of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, attract foreign investment, and drive growth in the logistics, seaport, and international trade sectors.
