Nguyen Hung Quoc Dung from HCM City won the highest prize. The organizing committee also presented 7 other prizes voted on the Vietnamese Embassy’s facebook page. The oldest contestant, 77 years old, and the youngest contestant, 12 years old, also received awards. Vietnamese Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh said that the 200 entries received during the last 2 months reflect the interests of designers and the community to the Vietnam-India comprehensive strategic partnership.

In related news, the 8th Vietnam-India People’s Friendship Festival opened in Hanoi. In his address, Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh expressed his belief in further development of bilateral ties. Mr. Lakshminarayanan Kannan, Head of the Indian delegation to the event, said Vietnam is bringing great strategic opportunities to India’s Look East policy. He urged for more efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.
