Scientists at the University of Queensland on Tuesday shared early research data with 3,000 colleagues around the world, via the online forum organized by the International Society of Vaccines.
Co-leader of the University of Queensland team, Professor Keith Chappell said that by disclosing data openly, Australian scientists hope to positively inspire all other teams in the race to find the solution for the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Financial Review quoted Professor Chappell as saying “The World Health Organization has recommended that vaccine manufacturers include this standard to allow benchmarking of the vaccines."
