(VOVworld) - At least 20 people were killed and more than 150 others injured when an under-construction flyover collapsed in Kolkata, India on Thursday.

The flyover, in the middle of a crowded commercial area in central Kolkata, came crashing down around 12.30 p.m. (local time).

So far, 20 bodies have been pulled out of the debris. The injured and victims rescued alive have been taken to local hospitals, some in serious condition.
