(VOVworld) – The 12^th Conference of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information (AMRI) and the 3^rd AMRI+3 meeting concluded Thursday in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar with a joint statement calling for enhancing information exchanges and communication co-operation. The statement underscored the importance of information sharing to inform ASEAN people about the benefits of ASEAN’s integration and community building. The ministers agreed that the media should cover more cross-sectoral and multi-stakeholder issues to deepen mutual understanding among ASEAN member states about their culture, history, religion and civilization.
