The theme “Cohesive and Responsive” that Vietnam chose for its ASEAN Chairmanship 2020 is a great reflection of the current pandemic time, Lim said, adding that the 36th ASEAN Summit is an example for ASEAN’s unity and cooperation and Vietnam’s leadership. The Secretary-General highlighted that Viet Nam has shown a ‘strong leadership vision’ by leading regional collective response for the COVID-19 pandemic and helping ASEAN members and dialogue partners in this battle.
