Other topics include the complicated situation in the East Sea, Myanmar, the Taiwan Strait, and the Korean peninsula.

The Ministers are scheduled to approve 40 cooperation documents. Countries are actively finalizing documents, including the AMM-56 Joint Communiqué and progress reports on cooperation between ASEAN and partners.

Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and the Vietnamese delegation will join more than 20 meetings. "As for the initiatives and priorities of Indonesia as ASEAN Chair this year, our mission is to assist in making these initiatives and priorities come true. The vision of the ASEAN Chairmanship 2023 will become the shared property of the Association, making concrete and practical contributions to peace, stability and common development of the whole region,” Ambassador Vu Ho said.
