(VOVworld) – The 15^th Informal ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment and the 10^th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the ASEAN Agreement on Trans-boundary Haze Pollution took place in Vientiane, Laos on October 30 and 31.

The Vietnamese delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Bui Cach Tuyen, attended the event. The Ministers discussed cooperation on the environment, the implementation of environmental targets in the master plan of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community and initiatives on environmental cooperation. As Vice president of those conferences, Vietnam has actively taken part in discussions and made practical contributions to the events. Vietnam will host the 13^th Formal ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment and the 11^th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the ASEAN Agreement on Trans-boundary Haze Pollution next year.
