Art program in tribute to Vietnamese soldiers held in Dien Bien

Ms Ha Thi Nga, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women’s Union said the program praises glorious feats of arms and silent sacrifices of heroic soldiers to bring independence, freedom and peace for the nation.

On the occasion, the Vietnam Women’s Union and the Border Guard High Command presented more than 70 charity houses and 500 gifts worth 200,000 USD to ethnic people in Dien Bien province.

As part of the program, delegates, the locals and visitors joined a massive dance called “Toward Dien Bien”. An exchange with history witnesses of the Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1954 also took place.
