Coinciding with the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), the event honored the outstanding value of Van Caos’ works and dedication to Vietnam’s music and art culture.
Musician Do Bao said the program organised by the Vietnam Musicians Association brought together large orchestras and hundreds of artists and musicians.

Bao said, “This is a large-scale event. For the first time, we have gathered 4 large orchestras and several famous singers at home and abroad.”
The program featured more than 20 classic songs that earned Van Cao fame as one of Vietnam’s greatest composers.
Van Cao, born in 1923 in the northern city of Hai Phong, composed “The Marching Song” in 1944.
