(VOVworld)-Vietnam has responded to the International Day for People with Disabilities on December 3rd, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Vietnam Federation of Disability sponsored an art exchange to encourage people with disabilities integrate with the community. Speaking at the event, National Assembly Deputy Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong reiterated favorable policies of the Party, and Government, together with local authorities, and supporting organizations and individuals so that people with disabilities could study, work and complete in sporting events: “I call on Party Committees at all levels, the Administration, the Fatherland Front, disabled people associations and the whole society to continue their support to care for and encourage people with disabilities. I believe that people with disabilities nationalwide will do their utmost to overcome all difficulties and challenges to better integrate into society.”
