(VOVworld) – An art exchange featuring the history of the Vietnamese People's Public Security opened on Sunday in Hanoi, kicking off a broad array of activities under a campaign of collecting and popularizing memorabilia of the force. Senior lieutenant-general Dang Van Hieu, Deputy Minister of Public Security, said at the event that through this campaign, all Vietnamese and international friends will learn more about the glorious history and outstanding achievements of the public security force. The campaign will continue until 2015.

Earlier the same day, the campaign’s organizers received 80 artifacts and photos. The number of collected memorabilia has totaled 300 since the campaign was launched last December.
