The program was jointly held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia, the Vietnamese Women’s Association in Slovakia, and the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club.
"This event is not only about highlighting the ao dai, lion dances, and other traditional cultural treasures, but also about strengthening bonds among Vietnamese abroad and sharing with international friends an image of Vietnam as friendly, open, and rich in identity," Vietnamese Ambassador to Slovakia Pham Truong Giang said.
"Beside ao dai, there were costumes from the Northwest and the Central Highlands, and the Quan ho singing tradition of Bac Ninh. We want to show our international friends the diversity and beauty of Vietnamese culture," Nguyen Lan Huong, who attended the event, said.
Following its success in Bratislava, the program will continue across Europe, with upcoming events planned in the Czech Republic, the UK, and the Netherlands.
