A launch ceremony of An Giang province's tourism month takes place in Chau Doc city on May 16, 2017.

Throughout the month, an ox racing festival, a boat race, a lantern releasing event, a music gala featuring bands from the Mekong Delta, and a seminar on tourism development will be held.

Organizing this event, An Giang province intends to make tourism a spearhead economic sector.
