Talking to a Voice of Vietnam reporter, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai said this visit is of great significance in promoting cooperation, controlling disagreements, and deepening the Vietnam-China relations in a substantive manner.
“Amid complicated and unpredictable developments in international relations and a serious slowdown of global economy due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the visit means a lot."
"It will be an opportunity for the two countries' senior leaders to discuss ways to comprehensively implement the results and common perceptions achieved during the official visit to China by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Both will make greater effort to promote win-win cooperation and control disagreements well, contributing to the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China,” the Ambassador said.
The Vietnamese Ambassador added the World Economic Forum (WEF) Tianjin is organized by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with the Chinese Government. It is the second largest conference after the WEF Davos in Switzerland.
Themed "Entrepreneurship: The driving force of the global economy", WEF Tianjin consists of more than 100 sessions, focusing on six main topics: rewiring growth; China in the global context; energy transition and materials; safeguarding nature and climate; post-pandemic consumers; and deploying innovation.
