It took him one and a half months to create the picture, which has been displayed at a number of exhibitions. Born in Algeria, the artist expressed his love and respect for President Ho Chi Minh, a great leader not only of Vietnam, but of the world movement for national independence. Mr. Boutadjine said: “I made this picture by combining many pieces of paper, which were carefully selected. I wanted to honor the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh as well as the power of the Vietnamese people. I respect and admire President Ho Chi Minh who is a symbol of international revolution. I am an Algerian and the victory of the Vietnamese people was a great inspiration that encouraged our country in its struggle for national liberation”.
