At a meeting with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangkok and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Thailand the same day, Ms. Ngan said the Party, State, and National Assembly always give full support to Vietnam’s representative offices in foreign countries.
“I hope the embassy staff and members of the Vietnamese community will continue to be role models so that the host government and people will speak highly of Vietnam. Although you hold Thai citizenship, you should keep the Vietnamese personality, spirit, and culture,” she said.
There are more than 100,000 overseas Vietnamese and 25 Vietnamese associations in Thailand.
